Apartment Update: Entryway
Sharing some other fiddling sneak peek at the novel story today too talking most my entryway (which was a large ole hurting inwards the tush!!)
bar cart / fake lemons / similar umbrella stand (everything else is either from TJ Maxx, Homegoods or non online)
This is what you lot run into correct when you lot opened upwards the door to my apartment. To the left is the kitchen infinite too to the correct is the living room and dining area. This was honestly the biggest handle for me to decorate because this wall is but then awkward! I knew I wanted a bar cart inwards the story too to a greater extent than specifically I wanted THIS bar cart then I knew this infinite would hold upwards the perfect house for it. That was non the hard part...
Not totally certain if you lot tin give notice say but the wall is angled 2 dissimilar ways. One is diagonal going toward the living room too i is inwards business amongst the kitchen too almost perpendicular to the diagonal wall. Which is totally fine on its ain but that dang lite is totally off center.
The light, which came amongst the apartment, isn't centre on the diagonal wall it sits on. It's centered on the entire entryway wall, which inwards plow makes it hold back off-center too it drives me crazy. Originally I but wanted to larn rid of the lite too hang upwards a beautiful gilded mirror at that topographic point but it couldn't hold upwards done. I originally was left amongst this horrid wall that but stared at me every fourth dimension I walked in.
One solar daytime it hitting me: pigment the wall too pigment it amongst bluish stripes. Voila! That was the perfect solution because it looks fun too inviting but likewise solves my work of getting approximately the lite fixture. Also, if I painted both walls (aka the entire thing) it would brand the lite hold back to a greater extent than balanced.
This wall is genuinely the same colouring pigment from my bedroom too it's the perfect colouring navy for me. It's a custom colouring I asked them to check from my large monogramed R pillows from Pottery Barn. I told Andrew the conception too i weekend nosotros decided to larn it done.

I know the lines bled though inwards some places.
